Can we help?

So life's been a little crazy. We moved into some apartments last Saturday. Trying to get the house packed was so much fun with two little helpers. I know there's more pictures of Owen 'helping' me with all the boxes, but he just liked them more. (And Cameron's been sick so he was usually literally in my lap helping with whatever random papers I was getting ready to throw away). As you can see though... Owen did a great job of finding the boxes, getting them down, standing on them, getting in them, going around them. (We have officially decided to write Santa and ask him for... BOXES!) We did eventually get all the boxes packed, and with lots of help got them all to our new place and the old house spic and span! Thanks to all of you that helped, whether it was a phone call, or dinner, or babysitting, or physical labor! You were all answers to our prayers (and will soon get proper thank you cards). It's all been crazy, but after a couple of weeks of being unemployed (but still more than blessed), as of now Trevor has just started a job and we will hopefully be getting another one too! If any of you hear anything I'd be good at or know of any scam free home jobs... let me know!

All the boxes were stacked up nicely against the wall. Owen would try to use them to steady himself to stand up and drum on them. One by one he'd grab it, fall on his back, box on top of him, get back up. Try to use them to steady... and on and on. You can see he did it more than a couple of times. But why stop the process of learning with that smile of pride!

Right side up...

Not so right side up. He was trying to get in the box... and surprisingly didn't make a sound about falling in it. He looked like a little contortionist, wiggling ever so slowly. I could see his eye looking at me through one of the holes on the side. When I picked him up he held the lid on to his hands and was so excited to be still in the box AND upside down!!!

At some point I did have to get something done... as you can see they didn't ever stop asking, "Mom, can we help?"

I just love those box pictures. That is so funny. So you moved out of the ward? I'm sure you'll love your new one too. You're such a friendly outgoing girl. Miss you!
