Summer Vacation!

So the place we love, and have gone every year since we started dating, is Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This was our 5th time going together, and the boys second time going since they were born. We went for 5 days and camped for 4 nights at Jenny Lake in Jackson Hole, and did half of the loop through Yellowstone on one of the days. We had a blast... but we didn't expect it to be so tiring trying to chase after the boys who were always chasing after a squirl or bird. They loved being outside and being able to run around all of the time!
The boys loved sitting here because the waterfall spray was kind of hitting them, and it was a hot day!
Owen eventually fell asleep on our hike.... We have a very similar picture with a much smaller Owen from last year.

We found lots of frogs at this one stop. The boys thought it was so funny when they'd jump out of daddy's hand because it would make them jump.

We stopped at this one hotspot spot... we'd never stopped at it years previously and it was so pretty! The boys didn't like it when the wind would blow the hot steam into our faces. But we did get to see a bird catch a fish right out of the water in the river right by here. It was way cool.

It is always breathtaking, every year.

I'm not kidding... this is Owen's dirt under the fingernails, and we'd only been there for a couple of hours!!!
This Mommy and Baby Moose were the first animals that the boys really got to see outside of the car....

There was all of these people standing so quietly taking pictures. We brought the boys over and Cameron was so excited he just started screeming, "Puuuppppppy!!! Puppy!!!" We said, "It's actually a Moose!" So then Owen started screeming, "Mooooooo! Moooooo!" and Cameron continued to yell about the "Puppy." The big crowd of people just looked at us with faces that wished we were quiet!

We did a big day hike, starting at our campground and hiked around Jenny Lake and up to the waterfall, and then up to inspirational point. About half way through we had to stop for lunch, once the boys ate- they were all smiles!

This was the pretty waterfall! It was awsome! (We've never actually made it to this waterfall, last year the boys were too little, and the year before I was too sick from being pregnant!)
