"Pop Pop Pop"

So we decided to drive up the canyon the other day to get some family time out of the house. We brought a small picnic and watched Trev fish. It's so pretty right now with all the fall leaves, but of course the pictures are mostly kids and not leaves....

This is when we first got there and I made Trev wait to start fishing for a couple picts with the boys!


I was trying to do some sort of photo shoot... thinking the pictures would be so cute, with them in their overals and the nice scenery... they wouldn't hold still so I gave them each a little stick thing and in this picture they're both telling me about the "flowee" (aka. flower)

Kinda cute... except you can't see them at all!

As we were grabbing all our stuff to go Cameron picked up the fishing pole and stuck the end in the water. I don't know if they've actually ever seen Trevor catch a fish. So I asked Cameron what he was doing and he smacked his lips together, "Pop pop pop" (which is what a fish says... like if you make a fish face and then try to make a fish noise). So apparently he knows all about what the fishing pole is for.

And then of course Owen needed a turn too!
I'm so thankful for the beautiful mountains and family that I have surrounding me!
