Two Two's!

That's right, it's the only time in my life I'll have two two year olds! It was my mom's birthday on Friday so they learned how to say, "Happy Bi-ay" and then their birthday on Saturday where they learned to say, "TWO!" with five fingers held up! We just had family over to the house, but they LOVED every minute of being of the center of attention!

They got Thomas the Train blankets for their new big boy beds (which will be an entire post in of itself!)

Uncle Billy got them their most cherrished toy. Cameron set Elmo up on the chair and said, "Cheese? Mommy please. Cheese?" (aka- take our picture)

Owen loves dress up! Thanks for the glasses Dan and Russ!

Oma got them these cute computer toys. Do you think Cameron likes it?

We made a cake in a bread pan and then split it in half. They each chose "chocolate" icing. (Sidenote: when the choice was, "White or Brown?" They both chose white. Trevor said they'd really want chocolate, so I asked, "Chocolate or White." Needless to say Trevor was right).
I had two options from there- try to make the cakes something clever and cute (like trains or cars or something) or let the boys have fun and help....
They both turned out unique! (Journal side note for my future reference: Owen chose an orange and a yellow candle, Cameron chose 2 green candles)
Owen blew out his candles lickety-split (he's been practicing everytime I try to light a smell good candle in the house!)

It took Cameron a minute, but he did it all on his own!
They LOVED the cake. Well, actually Owen loved the icing, and Cameron loved all of it. In fact, he ate so much of it (and NO lunch before hand) that he threw up about a half hour after this picture!
Happy Birthday my 2 amazing boys!

Hey! I feel terrible - with all the chaos of getting back home and everthing I totally forgot the boys birthday! I'm so sorry! Well we'll do something and I'll get it sent in the mail for them - and have Haley make them a happy birthday card or something. I'm a terrible aunt! It looks they had a wonderful birthday though! I'm so glad!
