The month of Love

So February's been a crazy month for us. I call it the month of love. I re-learned how much I love all of my family and how much they mean to e. It's so neat how the big man takes care of us for what you need. Trevor and I are at a great high in our relationship. I feel like I did when we were dating. Just can't see him enough! We love having a family and the boys are talking so much now that they're ALWAYS saying something funny! So on the other side of all this joy: between our parents and grandparents we have 4 people having major health issues. But most of them are coming out ok (or on the way to it). Thank heavens God gives me a supportive husband and cute kids to make it all ok! Here's some picts from our moslty amazing February.

The boys and I made Trevor some muffins ("cookies" according to them) for breakfast Valentine's morning. I let them do everything! Cameron litearlly demolished the egg! They LOVED doing it themselves (and when I did help them Cameron would remind me, "No mommy, Cameron's turn!") We put in some red food coloring so they would match the occasion. Cameron literally used half of the dropper on his 6 muffins. They were so proud when they were done though and they gave them to Trev and said, "Happy Day!" (which is Happy Valentine's Day, but that's just a mouthful!)

Then theirs the two of us being love birds. The night before Valentine's Day I decorated Trevor's car with "Will You be my Valentine" on the outside and then 30 things I love about him taped all over the car. With two new shirts, one for our day and our night. He was really surprised when he got out late from work and saw it all! (I tried to get a picture, but it was too dark) Here's his day shirt (and me in pink, his fave).
And then the big day itself. I think it was one of the best days of my life. We got a babysitter and went to a fancy resteraunt for lunch (and got everything I wanted... big lunch, salad, and dessert). Then we went iceskating. There were a ton of teenagers, but it was so fun to be able to just be together and actaully talk (instead of going to a movie or something). Then we went home and I got all prettied up and our church had a V-day dinner. They had a great dinner, a chocolate fountain, and cha-cha lessons (which was SOOOO fun). It was amazing - (I love you honey!)

And then just our everyday life in the rest of the month. Dressing up, making cookies, and trying to make eating fruit fun (with melted chocolate on top). ((Turns out the chocolates better than the fruit, and that's all that got eaten!)) Staying busy and still trying to get feeling better. (Cameron's ears still haven't healed from the tubes, and Owen's been sick, but we're on the up end now!

Yea for the month of love!

Sounds like things are going pretty good for you. Sorry for the family health issues, that is never fun! I hope things just keep getting better because you deserve it!

You are such cute, creative parents. I think it's so neat that you let them do so much and try new things all of the time. It sounds like a great date you two had. Burke and I need another one! It's so nice and important to have one on one time with your hubby too isn't it!?! Miss you!
