Orange October

We've had a crazy October! It was full of a lot of fun things, but a lot of sickness as well.

We started off our month with a BBQ with our friends, our kids are so similar in age. We've got babies about 3 months apart.
And twin boys about four months apart.
My sweet Trev had to drive a couple hours south for 10 minutes of work, so we joined him, and made a day of it...
By going to Cabellas!
We took some cute pictures, to celebrate Opas birthday.
The boys wrestled (Zach loves getting in on the action now too)
Daddy made a fort out of the couches.
Zach started loving non-baby food. He had noodles for the first time!
We've really been teaching the boys about healthy foods. So we decided to have another movie night, but with healthy snacks this time. We had little smokies (yeah, I know, not the healthiest), fruit salad, and a veggie tray. It actually went so much better than when we attempted it with a bunch of junk snack food.
We turned all these apples,
into apple chips,
and 24 jars of apple sauce (my first time canning!)
We all got the flu WAY bad! So the moment we felt like moving Trev wanted to surprise our dinosaur loving Cameron and take him to the dinosaur museum in Ogden. It was so much fun to get out of the house and enjoy each other!
Zach had his first surgery. Got tubes in both his ears. He was a champ, and came out of anesthesia pretty much happy as a clam!
We painted pumpkins.

And Zach somehow painted the floor with his foot :)
We played with our friend Cole (and his baby sister Avery)
We drummed and drummed and drummed to Def Leopard
We had to run outside and taste the first snow
Zach learned how to use a sippy cup
Cam chose blue and green hair for trick or treating at preschool
And Owen chose yellow (although it looked like green by the end of the day)
We played in the leaves
We dressed up (astronaut, dinosaur, and tigger) Aren't they the cutest ever?
We went trick or treating in down pouring rain.
Cameron carved a happy pumpkin
And Owen carved a mad pumpkin
The love of my life got me these gorgeous flowers
I carved this creative pumpkin :)
Daddy was ordered to make a T-Rex pumpkin
And we ended our month one big happy family...
or a fisherman and a fish, and our 3 musketeers.
