So I'm sitting at the ER with miss Hannah. Her, Kayden, Zach, and Owen have croup. This is the text I just sent my mom:
It's a rough one this time. We went to the doc yesterday and we gave her a steroid yesterday afternoon. We got to the ER at 6:00 this morning- did a breathing treatment and more steroid. They came to release her and I didn't feel comfortable. The doc came in to listen to her again and agreed they needed to keep her longer. He came in later to release her again and started explaining what to watch for at home. I showed him that she was doing all those things now..... So we just did another treatment. She finally fell asleep fighting us this time- and sounds good now- but her oxygen saturation is lower than when we came in. So.... Who knows. He did mention that sometimes they just have to keep them at the hospital to keep doing treatments every few hours. We'll see how she responds to this one.
This is an awful picture- I'm looking down at her to make sure the flash isn't waking up my sweet girl. She sounds much better right now, but her sats aren't as high. So wish us luck she does good and we go home soon!
