Merry Christmas!

Christmas was great this year! I took a million pictures- but here's the very few I took with my phone. Christmas Eve we spent with Trevor's family and then home for the tradition presents of jammies- this year they also got rice bag handwarmers, a voice book read by Trev and I and new ornaments. I thought they looked darling all lined up in their jammies. Yes- Kayden would not stay put!

Christmas morning the kids were told 6:00 was the earliest they could get up. It was so cute watching Cameron ad Owen crowded around their clock at 5:30 literally watching every minute go by!

My Mom and Rob and brother Billy were patiently waiting in the driveway for when the kids got up. Billy and Rob tried all mornin to convince the kids to switch the time to 7:00 next year. The kids did t buy it :) we took our time opening presents. I used to rush them through it- but if they wanted to play with something- we let them! It was so much more enjoyable! The babies woke up at 7:30 (why don't they do that EVERY day?) I called an 'intermission' while we changed babies and made everybody eat something non candy out of their stockings. Short bathroom break and then resumed. We had a great breakfast (French toast casserole, ham, and fruit salad) and then my family went home. The kids played with their new toys while Trev and I opened eachothers gifts and helped the babies get through theirs (Kayden started to get the concept towards the end). Trev got me lots of great things, but my favorites was a book- a real book!- each page with a reason he loves me. Some were serious (and very sweet) and lots were funny. He also made me this amazing wall hanging. I guess he went through an order online to get it all customized- and then made it himself! I felt so loved that he would spend so much time for me. He's a keeper ;)

After we sat and read my whole book I decided to clean up breakfast in hopes to take a late shower. Suddenly my dad and grandpa knocked on the door (2 hours before I thought!) I felt a little silly in my jammies at 2:00 in front of my well dressed family- but it was so great to have them over. They handled the high energy excitement of the kids very well!

After they left I finally showered and got the babies out of their hot jammies. (Do you see her cute pigtail?!)

Right after we got ready our friend Ivan came over. (Trevor met him in Bulgaria- he's lived in the states for 7 years and just moved back to Logan. We love having him around!) we had a big Christmas dinner with him after he played a mean game of chess with Cameron and then we all played ImagineIf. After he left we all went to bed pretty tired!

What a great gift the Savior gave us- his birth along with a healthy happy family!
