St. Patrick's Day

Trev always teases me because I make fun of all the holiday family traditions they do (yes, we had corn beef and cabbage on Sunday) but then I always try to make holidays big and fun for the kids!!!

Started off with a green smoothie (technically speaking I do this everyday.... But it seems more festive today!)

After getting all the other munchkins out the door we tried to get some pictures of these cuties....

Kayden was cracking himself up by not holding still!

I tried holding them....

And in the end our little darling stole the show!

Right after school some friends met for the annual parade.... It was miserably freezing.... But a stinking cute group!

The ones being pushed and this further frozen...

We had quick treats in the garage and then rushed back to get warm. Hannah was beyond miserable- I actually started to worry about her. Luckily Trevor always has me watch surving type shows- so I knew just what to do to warm her back up. The poor dear!

Then some of the young women and I delivered some birthday treats and presents to birthday girls!

Then we had our 'party'. (When we went shopping for the food Zach kept asking me if we were going to have a party since it was a holiday.)

This was the 'party'!

Rainbow of fruit....

Green juice...

Rainbow noodles with pesto sauce, sausage (no theme here- just needed some protein), and green beans.

Next the kids helped Trevor out in all the ingredients for some homemade icecream (mint chocolate chip of course).

And while they were mixing, I cut out shamrocks (that we all wrote on what we felt LUCKY to have) and the babies played with the bin of musical instruments that were out for the parade.

We tried to explain a little bit of the Irish culture and when the music came on the kids could not help but dance!

We tried to get some pictures and we all shared (and videod) what our shamrocks.

Then we ate our brownies with green frosting and mint icecream... Everybody loved it!

Cam Ham

Zacharini Zuccini

Big O

Little Miss (who could not shovel fast enough and had seconds of everything)

Mr Magoo (who insists on eating with a spoon and was eating 10 minutes longer than anyone else)

The love birds... We are totally serious.

The kids all said 'Ewe! Not a kissing picture!'

Then everybody got their presents!

Trevors :)

And the kids got green tic tacs!

Happy St Patrick's Day!!!
