Island Park

A few days after we got back from St George, we packed up and hit the road again!  Our good friends the berger's invited us to their cabin for conference weekend.

After another long drive and through a lot of snow- we finally made it!

We got their later then we wanted and still had to unpack and make dinner. The Berger's were still driving. We made lasagna and the babies were literally covered. I was glad I had time to spray down them and the cabin before they got there!

Trev and I were so excited that there was a hottub. The cabin was all so so beautiful. We were in awe the whole time. After we got kids to bed we searched and searched for the hottub. We finally found it through the door that was frozen shut. You can't tell- but the ice Trevor's standing on was literally 8 inches thick.

The Berger's (Becky, Roger, Christain (18), Nathan (15), Rachel (13), and friend Sage (13) ((their other daughter Clair stayed at Sage's house))) made it there late Friday night. The next morning we had muffins and fruit and bunkered down for conference.

Cameron adored hanging out with Rachel and Sage and singing Frozed with them.

After some nummy lunch and the other great session of conference, these kids needed to get out some energy! We got them geared up for the hottub. (Hannah was still napping). I just looked at these sweet boys thinking of the great memories they make as brothers and can almost picture the same picture in 10 years :)

The babies loved playing around in the mud room. I thought this was adorable of them mirroring eachother!

Saturday night we even spotted 2 moose! (We saw 8 total on the trip!)

The memory foam mattress really hurt both our backs so Roger and Becky and Nathan were so sweet to switch mattresses for us!

Sunday morning we went back to conference time! I love this picture of everybody just piled on top of one another! It was so fun to be with a family with teenagers. It was like my life flashin before my eyes. Still so much love and busy and fun... Just in bigger bodies!

This puzzle became everybody's nemesis!

As we were packing up all our stuff Kayden couldn't find a container to sneak some cereal in. So he grabbed the dust pan and poured it in there and carried it around!

I was a little exhausted after two back to back trips with little ones. I'll be the first to admit that it takes a lot of planning, perpetration, packing, and patience. But as I was setting all of our belongings by the door to load up- I couldn't help but look at it and be so unbelievably thankful that we not just need, but have all of this stuff just for my family! I am the luckiest woman in the world!

And on the way home God even gave me this masterpiece - frosting on the cake!
