Little Miss- Big Swollen

On Tuesday I was at WIC with all the kids. We survived weighing and measuring the three youngest- and getting fingers and toes pricked to do hemoglobins.

(I let Zach take pictures to calm him down after he got pricked- there was a lot of crying from a lot of kids- in a very small room) So here's Hannah and I in an action shot of me trying to hear about their growth.

As we walked out of the room and back into the waiting room Hannah tripped on a mat and with all of her weight smacked her face right on the edge of a wood bench. It echoed. I picked her up and knew there was going to be a lot of blood. I told Cameron to watch Kayden and ran her to the bathroom. I got the bleeding to slow down and came back out to the kids. The oldest boys were so helpful. I sent Owen to the van to get binkies (I'm so glad I pack extras of everything... Everywhere) and Cameron to get ice and call Trevor. They did so great during an 'emergency'. WIC needed me to fill out an incident report and I asked the lady if she'd help hold Hannah so I could look in her mouth better. Eventually Trevor came and we looked- ug- so bad. 3/4 inch long and couldn't tell how deep. I knew they probably wouldn't do anything since it was in her mouth- but it looked so bad I had to know I did everything I could. So Trevor took the others and Hannah and I went to Instacare.

The doc debated putting in some desolvable stitches and then decided to give it some time. He did say her teeth almost went all the way through- man that's deep- and ouch! We ran to the store quick after- and she was so sweet and still smiling. (The red mark is where her teeth almost went through).

We tried to get a good look at it... Man it didn't go over well.

Today she woke up way more swollen and more bruised. She's swollen out and down way below her teeth. :(

It makes me cringe just looking at it.

But yet, this sweet girl still manages to be so happy. Today I got out our baby dolls for the first time. The babies LOVED them! They were so cute! "Bab-eeee"

Wish us luck with the swelling and healing!
