Joyous June!

Sorry I've been blogging by the month! Summer's so busy, I'm just happy that I'm at least still documenting!

June has been joyous! It finally started to warm up so we got the pool out ( but it's a few years old and water doesn't stay in it... and as you can see Zach thinks the grass is more fun!)

One day Trevor had the idea to make a 'river' in our sand box. It has kept them so much more busy (and cool) than the sand box ever did. (Although I do go through a lot more laundry one days like this:) ... so worth it!)

After long days in the sun everybody's always so ready to snuggle up in jammies and go to sleep!

So one of the best things about June is it's my birthday! I turned the big 26! The Sunday before my birthday the boys helped daddy make a cake for me.
Trevor had suggested an oatmeal cake (yuk, that sounds way too healthy to be enjoyable), but it was so so so awesome!

I've been really needing some girl pampering, so Trevor sent me shopping by myself to get whatever I wanted for my birthday... then he wrapped what I got and the boys gave me my 'surprise' presents!

I went shopping thinking I'd get some new running shoes, and I came home with lots of girl stuff... nail polish, face wash, eyebrow waxing kit. Best presents a busy mom could ask for!

My sweet hubby made me breakfast in bed... yummy strawberry crepes!

One thing I really wanted was some time with Trev. So my mother-in-law watched the boys and we went and did sealings at the temple.

It was so nice to remember how much I love him and get to be with him for umpf amount of time!

We picked up the boys and met my mom and brother for dinner! (Which is always so fun to eat out, but a little challenging with 3 3 and under)

In case all of that wasn't enough, God gave me a present too, a double rainbow!

Then sticking with the 'girl time theme' the Friday after my birthday I had a girl's night. Trev took the older boys to his parents and two friends and I pampered ourselves and watched chick flicks and ate chocolate cheesecake!

This is Natalie doing a face mask!

And Cree soaking her tired feet!

Next up was Father's Day, so we got some picts for my dad of his kids and grandkids :)

And just the three cute musketeers!

My sweet bubba!

My uncle's a photographer and needed some models for a new project he's doing. This is the perfect picture that captures Cameron's personality. I love it!

Next we headed down to St. George for my mom's wedding (more pictures to come of that). This is us at her bacholorette dinner party! It's so fun to have girl time and be with family all at the same time!

While we were in St. George it was Father's day. So this is right after the boys gave Trevor his presents! (The most loved present was a new deck of Rook cards!)

My awesome, sweet, wonderful grandparents playing with the boys (we stayed at their house for the wedding).

My busy bee grandpa surprised me by holding still long enough to sit on the grass with Zach and watch the other boys jump on the tramp.

One of the best things about being at my grandparent's is sitting on this swing out front and chatting!

My aunt had the great idea we take the kids to the wild animal museum. This is with my cousins (we just call them the boys' cousins) Kensie and Easton.

They thought this bat was way cool.

After that and lunch we went to the local splash park (much needed in the heat of St. George!)

We had fun sitting on the sidelines together!

And the smartest icecream truck driver kept driving by... so inevitably we all had to pick some icecream!

A few days after we got back from St. George we went camping with Trevor's whole family (9 adults and 9 kids 6 and under). It was my nieces' butterfly themed birthday while we were there so all the kids made butterfly wings.

All the kids sitting down to chow.

The boys getting ready to sleep for the night. Complete with the full bedtime routine of watching Zaboomafoo!

Zach all bundled for bed... but so not sleepy!

All the sibs playing a mean game of rook.

We ended our adventure with a treasure hunt for the kids. So they're all sitting and waiting for the secret treasure map.

In the treasure box they found miniature animals. Grandma and Aunt Amelia brought everything for them to make miniature worlds for their animals (something Trev and his siblings did when they were kids... and loved!)

So a few days after we got back from camping Owen asked if we could go walk around the temple and see the new fountain there.

When we pulled back into our small town there was crazy things down each road. A microburst had come through the town while we were gone.

This tramp used to be across the street behind a house. It ended up in this tree, all bent like this.

And this shed used to have a roof.

We spent the whole night going around helping clean up all the damage from trees. Owen was seriously one of the best service rendered people there!

After all was said and done we had a great month! Zach was so excited about it he decided he should learn to sit up so he can observe all the excitement!
