So again I apologize for blogging a whole months worth in one post. And, if it's possible, July was busier than June. So here goes...
So we started off our independence day Thursday night with a neighborhood firework party. Everybody brought treats and whatever fireworks they had. It was awesome cause all we had was sparklers and pop-its, but there was still hours of fireworks to watch with everybody elses.
We bought a five dollar slip and slide from Walmart. The boys totally didn't get the concept, so Trevor ended up throwing them down it most of the time.
Zach thoroughly enjoyed watching. (Like his 12 month old shirt that's still showing some skin?)

And enjoying the left over pop-cycle sticks.
The next night my mom and step dad and brother came up and we went to Logan for their firework show. Cameron kept telling me he liked the Christmas ones (I still haven't figured out what made them "Christmas")
The next morning, Saturday, we met Trev's family in Kaysville for their celebration.
With a huge parade.

And free blow up slides.

(Which they kind of liked:)

And then headed back to Trevor aunts house so we could all enjoy lunch and seeing Trevor's sister who was in town from Iowa (love you and miss you already Amelia!)

Most of the family hit their new above ground pool. It was a HUGE hit.... we didn't end up leaving till like 8 that night.

Owen gets shivery any time he gets wet. So I kept trying to warm him up, and distract him out of shaking.

The kids enjoyed many a pop-cycles. This is some of the cousins (all similar in age), Cameron (3), Owen (3), Ethan (2), Haley (4), Lydia (4).

And my cute bunch.

Zach's been loving the summer vegetable left overs every night.
So 2 days after the Kaysville celebration was the actual 4th of July where we headed up to Lewiston's celebration.
Trevor ran in his first official race (since highschool). Him and a neighbor ran the 5k. (He keeps telling me it wasn't that far, but I'm still so proud of him as we are trying to make our whole family more active!)
After the race we set up for the parade.
With Trevor's running partner, John, and his family (who also have 3 year old twin boys) and another neighbor and their kids.

Zach was surprisingly entertained by his blanket the entire time!

A few days later we headed down to a Jackson family reunion where we got to visit with Trev's grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

And in the midst of this crazyness, I have to tell all you fellow moms with babies about this coolest invention. I got it at the grocery store in the baby isle. It's a little mesh thing that opens up and you can put food in it (we do a lot of fruit and veggies, like watermelon or green beans). Then Zach can chomp away and I don't worry about him choking!

So Owen is always riding everybody's bike. So we finally went to DI and found him this one for 5 bucks. Our sweet neighbor let us borrow their training wheels and gave us their helmet her son's grown out of. He is so so so so proud of it! (He's been telling everybody, "Yeah! I got a new bike! It's from the DI!)
So we took it on a test drive around the neighborhood. Cam still stuck with his big wheels.
As we're coming back to our house my other neighbor asks me if we only have one bike. She then procedes to give us theirs that her kids have grown out of. It is almost identical to the one we got for Owen. It makes Cam one happy little camper! (And fast little bugger. He flies!)

Mr. Zachary has been teething since 4 months... and if you look at this picture real close you'll see. That's right, no teeth. (He's now 7 1/2 months) At least he's darling!

My friend and I were bored so we decided to take our kiddos down to first dam. They have loads of ducks, geese, and seagulls that happily take any food you throw at them. (This is my boys with their friend Cole)

In the middle of the month Trevor and his dad and brothers went up to Yellowstone for their yearly fishing trip. (Dad Neal, brothers Dallin, Ryan, Kellan, and Trev)

To hike down a ridiculously steep (you can see the rock slide behind him that they call the trail) mountain to catch big fish like this.... all day!

While he was gone Cameron and Owen got an awful stomach flu (which I posted about previously) So while he was catching his fish. We were doing this. Each boy got his own couch, pillow, blanket, popcorn bowl, pop-cycle, water, and Gatorade. Refills nonstop on all.

Zach's been loving his bath with his brothers.

I've been feeling for a long time that we don't spend enough one on one time with the kids. So I made this little chart with lots of choices of things to do that they pick a new one with each of us everyday. It's been a huge success and we all really enjoy our quality time together.

My kids seas to amaze me. Owen told me he drew an elephant... well... and it really looked like it! (also notice how good he's doing at picking his cloths and putting them on by himself)

Zach is such a chill, happy baby. I thought it was so cute when he wiggled his foot out so he could lounge.

The rule is two boys at a time. Most nights I am nursing Zach so anytime I'm not the boys are always so excited when they both get to sit with me.

Our sweet neighbor behind us (Cameron calls him the cowboy) offered to take the boys on his horse while he was out with his grandkids. Second year in a row Cameron was the only taker... but man he loooovvveeedd it!

Cameron LOVES his older cousin Kensie. Her and her mom and bro were in town for a weekend. It made Cameron's day!

(sorry for those featured that this is an eating picture) So this is my two aunts, Netta and Christy, my bro Billy, Trev, my mom and my step dad.

As we were doing the slip n slide (which the boys totally understood this time around) Kensie decided to make them a house with umbrellas. They love it (And the idea has continued as we've gone out in the sun and I need to get them to sit in the shade for a minute).

As I mentioned before Owen's been awesome at dressing himself. I was behind on laundry and there was only on pair of shorts left in the drawer.... and yes, he wore them the whole day.

While my family was in town we went up to Lava Hotsprings and floated down the river. It was a blast!
The town Trevor's from, Mendon, does a big 24th celebration every year. So here we are for our 3rd parade within 2 weeks!

After the parade the fire truck comes and puts out all of these bubbles. It took him awhile, but once Cameron saw Kensie in it, he went nuts!

Mr. O decided he'd rather stay dry and hang out with Oma. (doesn't she look beautiful?)

They have loads of kids games and what not. Both boys actually won these by making two baskets. They were so proud. And it goes without saying that my accessories boy (Owen) still proudly wears them often.

We headed to Trev's parents for some cooling off in the pool.

After dinner we went back to the park and our little helpers moved our stuff to a perfect spot to watch fireworks.

A week or so later I was having one of those crazy days. The day was finally over and kids were in bed. I could hear it thundering and then I saw Trev go outside. I so was not amused, but followed him because I knew how much he wanted me to be sitting by him. Zach ended up with Trev and Cam ended up with me (the thunder woke him up) and we sat and watched this amazing thunder storm. It was one of those bonding moments with Cam and I that I will never forget. The energy and feeling of the storm was so calming it did me more good than any sleep ever would have. Trevor managed to get some awesome shots of it too.

The next week brought swimming lessons. Which started like this....
And because of their great teacher Megan and fun classmates Austin, Crystal, and (I'm drawing a blank), ended like this. The last day they got life vests on and swam down in the deep end. They even jumped off the diving board. Owen was so brave and did once, and Cameron thought it was the best thing ever and did 4 times!

The boys made Megan thank you cards and she told us this was her favorite class (I think the boys were her favorite...). She really made the difference. Thank you Megan!!!! (Oh, and sorry for calling you Emily for half the week. Owen's better at remembering names than I am.... but I guess he goofed this time:)

Zach has been spending a lot of time like this. Luckily he's just flopping forward and not crawling forward. (Trev gives him two weeks... yikes!)

Our neighbors had these sweet puppies. I thought it would be so cute, but they are just puppies so they ended up nipping on him the whole time instead.

But this one's still a little cute.

These cute puppies belong to this cute baby. I had to take a picture though because he is only one month younger than Zach, and Zach looks like he could eat him!

And as always the kids are always finding humor in everything.

It was a Jumpin' June!

I love it! I am the same way lately with long posts - it is just so much easier to do it all at once. So my comments are...
*amazing picture of the lighting. I love lightning storms - and in Zion the thunder echos down the canyon and sounds incredible!
*I have seen those mesh binkie things and had wondered about them - maybe I'll give them a try
*That is funny that Zach doesn't have any teeth yet because I was just posting about the same thing with Avery - she keeps acting like they are coming in but nothing has shown up as of yet
*I love the idea of the chart for special time with each parent - that is so cute and great idea!
*okay, I don't remember what else but it looked like it was a great month for you guys!!
Wow you were not kidding. No wonder you had no time to blog. You were one busy family.
I too love the chart idea. I may have to steal that one.
I am tired just watching all that you've done! :)
This is exactly why I really miss being home sometimes! Looks like you guys are having an awesome summer! Seantea, do me a favor, find me a girl that is as awesome as you at being a mom/wife! Sheesh! Tell Trevgor zdravay mrusnik!
