Maybe Partly Cloudy

As always, our month has already been full of fun. We took the first day of November as a chance to forget about work and life and headed up the canyon.

The oldest 3 boys :) (unsuccessfully) fished.
And that night we used all the leaves to make a family tree.

It was Trevor's great idea to the actual leaves we'd collected up the canyon. It was so fun (and funny) to try to explain the difference to the boys of family and friends and neighbors. It was so fun to see how many people love us and we love!

I got all the boys new jammies (I know their faces don't show it, but they really were excited).

And our health craziness continues. I'm still trying to look on the bright side (which their is much more of than the dark side), but I'm starting to feel a little partly cloudy. Zach's being treated for the c-dif (antibiotic induced colitis), Cameron's c-dif came back negative, but we're still treating him for it. Then his blood tests got back today, and they suggest that he's got celiac disease (your body can't process glucose). The only way to be sure is to get a biopsy on his intestines. We're hoping to get him in in the next couple months for the biopsy. Then over the weekend, Owen was having really bad back pain, along with a fever, and feeling nauseous. I took him into insta-care and he had blood in his urine. They're treating him for a bladder infection until his Align Centerfinal results get back tomorrow. I've been on meds for a sinus infection and now have a (so much fun) yeast infection to go along with it. And because celiac can be genetic, I'm getting Zach and Owen's blood drawn tomorrow (and me soon as well). And I'll be scheduling surgery for my deviated septum probably next Thursday. Anyway, at this point I have lost it a couple times. I'm so thankful for a supportive husband, and mom, and in laws. We all got priesthood blessings on Sunday night, and it was so great to feel our angels helping hand and comfort. My cute little family is my world, and I'm so glad, that really, we have good health. We'd love some more prayers on our behalf, just to help me keep my sanity.

But, in the end, I know and am so glad, that we have everything we could ever ask for!

Oh gosh! It is piling up over there! That sucks, I'm sorry! But on the bright side, that video of Zack is SOOOO funny & adorable... I had Charlie on my lap and even he thought it was so funny, he was laughing his butt off! :)

Your poor family has been through so much! Hopefully the clouds will part soon and your sun will shine down from here on out - but even with all this you guys still do such fun family activities - what a great mama!
