I've had big plans for our summer this year since I was uncomfortable and grumpy last summer. We wrote out a curriculum plan and everything. I planned to do routine lessons with the kids every day. Lets just say it hasn't gone quite as planned- but in two and a half weeks our summer has already had-
Zach started swimming lessons. We stay after the lessons and all play in the pool. All the strangers that learn 'they're all mine' tell me I'm brave to come by myself. Lol- I love those comments :)
We've sent daddy lots more pictures to distract him from work.
Trevor is awesome and lets me sleep in until 8 (usually because I go to sleep at 6 am). I've been waking up to this sweet scene daily!
When I got out the summer jammies Owen has been assigning them to each kid every night so that they are all in the same character!
My 4 boys had they're first bath all together!
Hannah and I sit out on my porch swing a lot right around 4:00. It helps her to stop crying and it gears me up for dinner and bedtime (often by myself).
The babies have enjoyed a few outings to different parks with our friends and neighbors. They love looking at the trees.
We went to Willow Park Zoo with a buch of neighbors.
We did a family home evening at a new yogurt shop we got coupons too. The kids insisted on sitting by the fire even though it was 80 degrees.
Owen had the bright idea to make a bike ramp. Our neighbor kept giving him more wood to make it bigger. This is as big as I'll allow this summer :)
God wished me happy birthday with an amazing sunset!
Kayden continues to make us smile and brighten our days.
Owen got buried in the sand on my birthday.... He liked it until he felt closterfobic.
We got out the door jumper. It's a fun new place to set a baby!
Cameron and Owen worked hard in grandpas garden to earn money. Oma also gave them her change. After much debate, they bought a fun pool for our yard! I was so proud of them to save it and get something worth while. (I should also be named super mom for doing this shopping trip alone.... Pushing a double stroller while keeping kids out of the road while carrying this huge pool over my head with one arm)
Owen started piano lessons with his grandma. She's the best in the valley and I was so excited that she was willing to squeeze him in her schedule. He was soooo excited, his first day he wanted to look really nice for her. (He picked the tie out and everything)
Ad while they do piano the other 4 kids and I go up in the nursery and I do art lessons with Cameron. He's loving it so much he always gets mad that we only do it once a week.
Kayden found his thumb.... But it only lasted a day. Phew!
My mom and Rob gave us a picnic table that is used so often for snacks- usually with friends!
Zach is in his helmet all day. He ca put it on by himself... But not off :)
Hannah can almost sit on her own... Almost.
Kayden ends up with everybody's hat on his head.
The older boys have tball twice a week.
We have gone through a kagillions band aids.
Rainbow!
Trevor's been working hard to break in his awesome new hiking boots my mom got him. Ha ha- working hard :)
We need baths 3 times a day at least!!! ...but it only happens once :)
